One year membership in good standing through the calendar year (does not does not renew at end of year); or Yearly continuous membership (automatically renews once a year); or Lifetime membership (never expires)
Rules of Membership:
MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT DUE BY JANUARY 31, 2019
Invitations to The First Lady’s Luncheon are sent to members in good standing only.
Payments to The Congressional Club are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax Purposes.
Life Member – Payment of $2,000. Associate Members can become Life Members upon $2,000 payment.
Member – Payment of $150.00. Spouse (male or female) of a former or sitting Member of Congress, Cabinet Member or Supreme Court Justice who pay annual dues.
Associate Member – $150.00. Adult child (male or female) over 18 years of age of a Club Member in good standing. Membership will continue to extend through the Club Member and will then be available only to the child (male or female) of the Member. Spouses of adult children may not join the club; however, any spouse of an adult child that is currently a member may continue membership.
Non-resident Member – This category is duplicative of Associate Member and has been eliminated.
Good standing – dues are current.
Anyone who has been allowed to join in prior years without meeting the above guidelines will be able to keep their membership if they are current.
Membership Lapses: Members are eligible to rejoin the Club within five years of last dues payment, with payment of back annual dues, currently $150/year for the years unpaid; when membership has lapsed over five years members are eligible to rejoin by becoming a Life Member, currently $2,000.
