Membership

The Congressional Club Museum and Foundation membership is comprised of spouses of sitting Members of Congress, a spouse of a Supreme Court Justice or a spouse of a member of the President’s Cabinet.

Eligibility for Initial Membership
Lifetime and Active/Associate:
(1) Spouse of a sitting member of Congress, Justice of the Supreme Court or member of the Cabinet.
(1) Adult child or spouse of an adult child of an active member who is at least 18 years old.
*Grandchildren of members are ineligible for membership


The Congressional Club Museum and Foundation

The Congressional Club was founded in 1908 to provide a non-partisan setting for building friendship among the spouses of Members of Congress. Today, membership is also open to spouses of the President’s Cabinet and U.S. Supreme Court; and the Club’s primary focus is fostering friendship through service in Washington, DC and working with charitable organizations across the Country.
