Betty Bloomer Ford Dinner Gown
● Served: 1974-1977
● Designed by Frankie Welch of Alexandria, Virginia.
● The dress was created with jade-colored fabric brought from China, by the Fords. Its fabric origin inspired it’s mandarin-style collar.
● Although there was not a formal inaugural ball, Mrs. Ford wore the gown to state dinners at the White House in 1975 and 1976.
